~ Offered as a continuity of care package from 12 weeks gestation until 6 weeks postpartum

~ Antenatal appointments are monthly until 32 weeks, fortnightly until 38 weeks and then weekly until birth. Appointments are generally at least an hour long and individual to your personal needs. 

~ I am on call for your birth from 37 weeks gestation.

~ Myself and a second midwife (a legal requirement) will attend to provide care during labour, birth and the immediate postpartum period (usually 3-4 hours after the birth).

~ In the event of transfer to hospital I will come with you to continue providing care in a support and advocacy role.

~ Postnatal appointments are usually on day 1, 3, and 5 and then weekly if all is well. They may be more or less frequent depending on your personal circumstances/preferences. 

~ Referral forms provided for pathology and ultrasounds you choose to do.

~ Prescriptions can be provided for pregnancy related issues.

~ A birth pool (with liner) and TENS machine loaned to you for birth.

~ I will provide labour and birth support in the hospital setting (you may also like me to support you at home before attending hospital).

~ A TENS machine loaned to you for the birth. 

~ Offered as a pay as you go service with medicare rebates available.

~ Antenatal and postnatal appointments are usually at least an hour long and individual to your personal needs. Your appointments can follow my usual schedule of care or you may just be wanting to touch base with a midwife once or twice during your pregnancy. 

~ Referral forms provided for any pathology or ultrasounds you choose to do.

~ Prescriptions can be provided for pregnancy related issues.
